Youth Department

I Corinthians 12:4-6 (NLT)

“There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same spirit is the source of them all. There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.” Our mission is for each person to be led to a personal knowledge and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to be trained in various ways that they may serve Him.We want to make God’s mission our mission. The task comes when we begin to plant the seed (announcing the Good News); watering the seed (the goal is to form the character of Christ); and God will give the increase (God will equip the convert with whatever is necessary for them to become a worker so that the spiritual harvest may continue to abound).

Our focus for the Youth Ministry revolves around:
• Worship – strengthening personal and community spiritual development.• Study – increase the knowledge, understanding, and experience of Christian faith, life, and service.• Community – experience close kinship of belonging and guidance from adult leaders, while strengthening the community in Christ.• Service – participate in local ministry of Christ through action and witness.• Recreation – celebration of God’s gift of life.
